Since 2008, Dania Mallette has been the one-gal operation behind the home-based art business, DDM Creations, with chalk art being one of several specialties offered in addition to children's book illustration and murals, to name a few.

As the demand for her chalk art services grew, the decision was made to expand...and the Chalk Chica was born. While DDM Creations will still be up and running, as the Chalk Chica, Dania hopes to target the chalk art niche specifically and introduce even more individuals and businesses to the beauty of chalk art and all the creativity that comes along with it!

 

When she's not chalking things up, Dania maintains a busy schedule writing articles, doing consulting work and participating in a variety of entertainment-related projects.

 

Out of workaholic mode, Dania enjoys being a homebody, reading, sketching and watching her favorite movies and TV shows. One of her favorite pastimes is dining out with friends at various restaurants, cafes and hole-in-the-wall spots in and around the San Francisco Bay Area.
